Valid, but I won't hear a word against Rodin. 1982, first visit to the Rodin Museum, in Paris, in the mist, romance.

Love Rodin.

I think thought is overrated

the Rodin Musuem in Paris is wonderful (it used to have the more delicate Claudel pieces inside too). I have a photo somewhere of dear file poking his head out from behind the Gates of Hell

Hell seems to be emerging as a theme here... Hell and sharks:)

file your thinking on thought has captured the essence here... it's that wonderful dobie gilles factor...

aaah don't get me started guys, me duele la cabeza.
Filou,
-I think thought is overrated-if you think so then you are under-rating your own statement.

Actually, I think the ultimate sin, is betrayal.

I think, therefore I am. But am I really thinking? Or do I just think I think? And if I only think I'm thinking, do I only think I exist...?

Better not to think about it.

But if you "only" think you're thinking, you're still thinking and therefore you are. Unless we've been wrong all this time and it should read "I think, therefore I think".

All this to prove that thinking is definitely not a prerequisite to writing (in my case, at least).

Zeph, offie,
I heard once Ingrid the barmaid saying:
"je pense donc j'essuies"

And her cousin, Gertrude, the nurse, said 'Je panse, donc je suis'.

Ingrid, Gertrude, :))

Offie, of course you're right, duh, not very good at this, us Brits don't get taught philosophy at school y'know.

At least I don't think so.
