Irish steeplechase or cross country.

Hello Alan, welcome!

Irish, eh? Watch out if Offsideintahiti shows up, he's an honorary Irishman...

... with writer's block.

Been staring at this for a couple of days, couldn't think of anything. Should I turn to drink?

Zephirine said...

I dunno, Offie, can you get absinthe on Moorea?

offsideintahiti said...

Nope. I suppose I could try making my own out of coconut and grapefruit. I'll let you know if that makes me think of a witty caption.

Is everybody on holidays?

Zephirine said...

Must be, it's very quiet in blogland.

offsideintahiti said...

Should we have a duet, then?

I'm here, but unable to locate the passage I wanted to quote, about ringwraiths... and anyway I see now that it is a topiary horse, not a ghosty one.

Ooh! Alan has a little picture. I want a little picture.

Zeph,

Sorry about the confusion-Alan's comments that was me- I used his mac at the office, didn't know his blogger identity could pop-

Zephirine said...

Ah Guitou, masquerading under a false identity eh?

Munni, I think you can quite easily have a picture, you have to create a Blogger profile for yourself. My computer constantly asks me if I want to see 'insecure items' which sounded quite exciting till I realised it was just the little pics...

It's actually a wire-netting or chicken-wire horse (and rider). But it looks quite ghostly too.

Offie, I'm not sure whether or not to thank you for giving me another chance to see Sonny Bono's hairdo.

Fuck me, my horse turned into a piece of living art and ....aaaargh!!

~Just checked offie's duet, and oh whoops well that was a goodie. I 'm seeking a better link. It's hard.

I'm losing so much of life to do this but I am fine about this:

oops, that was me posting anonymously, though perhaps I shouldn't take credit for it.

offsideintahiti said...

Yeah, it's a good thing the theme is not captions for strange horse-riding pictures, otherwise we'd be stuck for something to write...

Anonymous said...

Well, you'd only be stuck if you wanted to stay on-topic...

Hope our Californian contingent weren't upset by the earthquake?

Anonymous said...

yeah, i didn't feel it at all from Paris-
May be the after shock when I get there tomorrow..

Great clip munni. But am I the only one thinking that on this one, Bowie sounds like the bastard love-child of Anthony Newley and Phil Daniels? It's not a pleasant thought, I can assure you.

munni said...

scary for about 30 seconds, not a very big deal in retrospect. A couple of pictures needed straightening, is all.

offsideintahiti said...

As long as your Californian earthquakes don't send tsunami waves down our way...

Anonymous said...

bloody GM seeds, it said Naked Wood Nymph on the packet

earthquakes can be scary, glad we're all ok. Guitou is clearly gifted with animal instinct and knew when it was time to leave

And a caption finally comes up on the left and pips them all at the post!

Twenty-feckin'-five to one
Me gamblin' days are done
I bet on a horse called
The Bottle of File
And my horse won!
