Such a warm thick coat
would make a fine pair of gloves
when winter returns

Just try it, buddy
you won't be out canoeing
for a little while

offsideintahiti said...

Oh come on, Rosie
this is no gratuitous act
We'll cook you as well.

Mittens???

guitougoal said...

rosie,
we'll cook you a la sauce moutarde.

Are there two Rosies? Would be lovely slippers. Furry and warm.

You could probably make a pair of slippers out of her, she's a big girl, but it would be an expensive pair considering what she cost..

At the moment she's looking at the page of the atlas with Tahiti on it, and growling softly to herself.

offsideintahiti said...

Hi Zeph, can you make those slippers size 9, please? The nights are getting cooler here.

Anonymous said...

Offie, why should I clothe you with my pets when you have perfectly good animals of your own? Skin that doormat dog if you're feeling chilly.

offsideintahiti said...

Zeph,

be logical, please, if I did that, what would I use as a doormat?

Anonymous said...

The cats? Stitch them together if necessary.

offsideintahiti said...

The cats have already been turned into matching pairs of His and Hers earmuffs. Come on, Zeph, I need your cooperation on this one.

Anonymous said...

Nah, sorry, you can't have my two.

Tell you what, though - a little-known side-effect of the preparation of the 2012 Olympic site (down the road from here) was the displacement of about 100 stray cats which lived there when it was all scrapyards and small factories. I'll round up a few and get them shipped out to you.

A mangy quilt? How lovely. I'm sure it will go perfectly with the mug with the silly haiku you got me last christmas.

Breakfast in bed, sponsored by Zeph. I'll have a picture taken, with the earmuffs and the doormat, and I'll frame it for you.

Aaah... what a pretty picture...

Prefer a video?

offsideintahiti said...

*OK, I'll get my sheepskin loincloth and I'm off rowing*

Good night!

Zeph, offie,
haikus mon cul, this blog it's about slaughtering animals for food or sheepskin. I am concerned the animal protection society could report you for cruelty.

offsideintahiti said...

Remind me, who said "sauce moutarde" again?

Zephirine said...

I agree, Guitou, it's a disgrace (but he started it).

Rosie is very offended, she thought her poem would be received as a work of literature and instead she gets death threats. I have explained to her that she can now model her career on Salman Rushdie but she's not interested.

offsideintahiti said...

A catwa?

Zephirine said...

Hehe. Though I don't recall anybody proposing to make Rushdie into warm garments.

guitougoal said...

thanks zeph, your understanding is very much appreciated-Cooking Rosie a la moutarde Grey Poupon at low temperature it's not so barbaric asfter all.

I don't think I've ever looked at a picture of Salman Rushdie and thought "um, nice mittens or maybe warm slippers". Though I'd like to think that this theme could be included in the next South Bank documentary on the controversial author.

!!!
Blimey, I go away for a few days and This is what you get up to! Any newcomers here would think it was part of some surreal therapy session ..:)

personally I think Salman would make a nice rug, or a funky pair of chaps for Islamic cowboys
