I hope we'll have time to hold the Olympics before the world ends, Filo. Do we know which month the Mayans predicted it for? (haven't seen the movie, not going to)

Meanwhile, I like the sound of twenty ten, it seems promising.

Very entertaining Zeph, better at dancing than I'll ever be even when he was drunk! (dancing how I'd imagine Bertie Wooster to dance)

I thought the Mayan prediction was for December 21st (or I might have got that date from somewhere else?), so at least we'd fit in the summer olympics...

Happy New Year all by the way!

Hello, Zeph. Just popped in to say happy new year and all and to tell you how deeply you cut me with your Cliff comparison...Cliff...dear merciful God. You owe me some serious stroking, kiddo.

It must have been the camera angle, Mishari:) Never mind, at least it was a short poem.

And a very merry ice storm to you all.
Sad to greet the new year with death - but it happens and on Dec 30 so passed away one of my guitar heroes. Rowland S Howard and I shall shiver off and find a link.

Rowland. Just 50 years young. His funeral is Friday in Melbourne.

Respect please for one of the finest guitarests of our time. This is one of the times that when a musician dies, I cry and feel a gap. It's just not fair.

Very sad, Mimi; a fine musician.

Why are holidays always so short?

Hope your 2010 flies by too...
