Here's a little challenge (because I know you like them):
write a 50 word story involving FOOD
and no, you can't just list a 50 word menu - it has to be a STORY.
50 words or less - over to you...

Ah, Zeph, stop it with the pictures. It's almost lunchtime here, dontcha know? I'm drooling.
Think yourself lucky - there were some truly horrible pictures of food when I googled... I might have used something that would have put you off your lunch:)
I forgot to say you can either post your 50 word story as a comment, or you can send it to me and I'll post it with a proper title and everything.
I am not hungry right know, I'll be back starving,
at lunch time.
hmm, food, glorious food ...
zeph - jellied tadpoles and cream (nay, not old trout!)
offish - ris de squid
guitou - caviare (what else?)
munni - sea horse soup
mimi - fruit de canal
file - minnow pie
drshoot - (where is the good doc?) manta ray butties (surely?)
Filou, even when you sign m, I can recognise your hand-writing.
I thought that was m for munni.
I think it's a sort of graphic tourettes syndrome Offie, thanks to all for your patience!
What is fruit de canal?
Don't think that sounds like my favourite raspberries or even the strange veg that is the Pyramid.
Pyramid?
Thanks file, I like mine this time. I'm imagining pink and orange sea horses swimming about in a big cooking pot, with music playing.
Jellied tadpoles, forsooth...
mimi, I suspect fruit de canal is like fruits de mer, only murkier.
I'm happy enough with my lot, just wondering where in the squid you'd find the ris...
no probs munni, tho there are no guarantees for next time
zeph, forsooth indeed
mimi, wot offster said
offster, turn left at the foie but if you see the vessie you've gone too far
