Somerset Maugham? Key Largo? All sorts of echoes here, Doc, and a sense that this is the final tip of a big iceberg.

this is like looking in Heath-Robinson's garage workshop, is it finished or is it complete? What is it, will it be? And what the hell is he using one of those for? And those things will never fit, will they? Following a flow diagram designed by Andre Breton whilst in the colonial tropics, Escher as a mechanic, the windmills of your mind doc grind the cloudless skies for unbearably light brioches that leave me salivating for more! ever more, the curse of talent, I think I rant for all of us when I send you power for your lottery hand...!

the papua new guinea set still in pieces around the workshop but can be fitted together and made to work...
not too sure about the tools though; rusty and cumbersome but I have the general picture in my mind somewhere...
am being inspired by following the branston rabbidoes and the author's ability to re-aasemble being from dismembered pieces...
