“She’s been in a critical condition for a long time now.”
“She’s not yet stable, I can say that.”

“Not much, to be honest.”
“Well, what are you doing to prevent worsening?”

Brilliant, but horribly chilling. Amazing what you can do with 50 words.
this interview with the gods can be read in full on the intergalactic noticeboard available by application from Bogon headquarters....
thanks mims
I got it doc but no'one will listen to me, I walk around with my "End is nigh" placard and folk just think I'm crazy...
see
And all the while the Gods move little figures round the chess boards, eh Doc?
yes indeed Mimi.
Human history was only meant to be an alluring blip on the earth amusement radar, but somehow someone got into the machinery and stole the tools and now the whole thing is in the balance...
perhaps the next plenary session of the gods will allow suggestions from the floor like:
Thor representing lapland etc: "hows about some good old ice age stuff to cool them down"...
Isis for rivers dept and standing in for pestillence collective: "lets whack em with bugs and diseases..." etc etc
the 4 whores men of the alfalfa-ists riding up the skirts of Mare Gaea
...and the building of the wall of it was of jasper and the city was pure gold like unto clear glass...
...I am alpha and omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last...
...so Gaia was laid low that the riders, vanquished, could ride again...
I wonder if Kirosawa had anything to do with writing the history of things...
...with ronin facts for sure and the slashing of wholes with swords
Greenaway too, it's all been counted, indexed and classified, pinned to felt and framed by those with set squares...
and drugged compasses, eaten by those who've forgotten how to find food for themselves ...
ah File you are the king...
who said Vonnegut was dead...
I think that was K.Trout, no you da king...
